USA DEAL ONLY – No scammers, this isn’t our first rodeo… 1988 Hurricane 1000 CBR – 2 tone silver – Clean title in hand Low miles at approx. 20550 Only reason for sale is I got a great deal on a Harley. I bought this bike after being off a bike for 20 years. It did the trick, I want to ride but I prefer a cruiser. I just paid 2222.12 for the bike on Ebay, I can forward the auction I just put 2100.00 in it with receipts. Essentially I’m in the bike at 4300.00 This bike is going to sell at a bargain! Ready to ride, she’s even gassed up! The devil you know beats the devil you don’t and the bike is priced to move. Someone is going to get a great bike! A TON of work went into the bike in the past 100 miles this year. I have all receipts. Here's what was done: CAM CHAIN TENSIONER Fork seals Metzeler tires Chain and sprockets FULL tune up EVERY fluid flushed and filled (oil, brake, coolant, clutch) Brakes were done right before I got the bike Battery was changed right before I bought the bike There’s nothing left to do, as I bought her to keep her.. The cosmetics – 2 tone Starlight Silver and Charcoal, the bike looks 5 – 7 years old. The right side exhaust shield had paint work and is a little scuffed. Looks like a driveway dump. Other than that it looks to be original paint. The pictures are current and accurate. She’s not perfect as there are little nicks here and there. There’s a scuff on the fender tip, the bottom of the front fender has some smooth paint wearing. Not ugly or obtrusive. NO RUST, and this bike is gorgeous. The bike has 20700 miles, I'm still riding - it looks like 7500. It’s that nice. Shows very minor wear and minor patina but the bike is clean. Lots of accurate photos. All the maintenance and safety work is done. She's bone stock except for Supertrapp slip ons and she sounds NICE. Everything works as it should at the time the auction was posted. What does she need - Right now, nothing that I know of or the shop identified. What should you know - The alternator chain tensioner when cold at idle is a little noisy. As soon as you give it any throttle or she warms up its fine. The bike was worked on at The Motor Cycle Center in East Brunswick NJ. They said as long as the noise goes away (it does) and the bike charges properly (it does) to just leave it. They said it was the nicest Hurricane they worked on and everyone who passed thru commented on what a nice bike it is. As seen on every forum, this is not a safety or mechanical issue. Keep in mind the CAM Chain tensioner was done, that’s the big one. NO WARRENTEE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED – Final sale – Inspections are welcomed BEFORE close of auction. Inspections are welcome – No test drives without full cash in my hand PAYMENT – Paypal will be accepted and required for a deposit of 10% or 300.00 (whichever is higher). It is due within 48 hours after end of auction. Balance due is CASH SALE or WIRE TRANSFER from a US Bank (Nothing changes hands until transfer is completed and cash is out). There are no other payment options. Paypal is not a final payment option. Final payment is due in 4 business days. I can hold the bike for 30 days so you can arrange shipping BUT it’s on your insurance and my plates are off. US SALE ONLY Shipping – I will not ship or deliver the bike, HOWEVER I will work with your schedule if you work with mine if you need to use a transport company. . If you arrange a shipper, we’ll make sure it gets on the truck but have no liability at all in case of shipping. If the shipper scratches the bike or has any issue, it’s between you and them. Again, the bike does not leave the premises nor the title will sign over until cash is in hand. You bid is a binding contact. If you don’t have the money – don’t bid. If you need your wife or mothers permission get it before you bid. Your winning bid is not an ok to look at the bike – you bought it. No trades UNLESS it is a guitar or bass of VALUE.
