Up for sale is a 2006 Acura RL w/ Technolgy Package. This car has every available option including navigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, power everything, heated seats, SH-AWD (All Wheel Drive), and power sunroof. The technology package included the ACC, A "Collision" sensor system, and PAX wheels and tires. For those of you that have done your research, you know that the PAX wheel/tire system was less than desirable. This car has been "de-paxed" which means the metric wheels and tires have been replaced with OEM Acura rims and a much more common tire size. The tire size and wheel size is what comes on the non PAX RL's. It was done at the dealer. The advantage to this is when you need to replace the tires you dont need to go searching for PAX tires and then try to find someone to do the install. The car now takes the stock OEM Acura RL tire size. All TPMS sensors are there as well and work perfectly as they should.....No dash light indicators etc. "DE PAXING" an RL will cost you around $1,500.00 and I have already done it for you. CAR HISTORY: This is a 3 owner car. I bought this car from the original owner in Indiana. The owner in Indiana was a gentleman that had passed away and I bought it from his wife. They were both in their early 70's. The car was in flawless condition and if I remember right it had about 30,000 miles on it. I drove the car for approx 3 years and sold it to my Uncle. At that time, I believe it had around 65,000 miles. I take meticulous care of my cars and always have the scheduled maintenance done at the dealer. My Uncle is the current owner. He is in his early 70's. He loves this car but decided to buy a new Lexus and that the only reason its up for sale. It now has 108,700 miles. As I said before, this car has always been maintenanced at the dealer. All scheduled service has been done. It has newer Michelin tires with around 85% tread. There are no dents and no major scratches. This car has never been in an accident and has never been repainted. It has been detailed and waxed twice a year. In my opinion the best option on this car is the Adaptive Cruise Control. It automatically slows the car or speeds it up based on the traffic in front of you. ITS AWESOME......AND A RARE OPTION!!! NOT MANY RL'S HAVE IT. It has power everything, one touch power windows, and everything is voice activated or manual depending on which way you want to do it. The interior is clean and never smoked in. There is some wear on the driver seat as shown in pictures and there is wear on the steering wheel. The wear on the steering wheel is from a ring my Uncle wears on his hand. I know its ridiculous, but I what to portray this car accurately. The car runs absolutely perfect and it always has! Never any issues and you know when you sell a car to a relative you better make sure its a good vehicle!! It drives straight as an arrow, stops on a dime, and looks great.
