Vehicle Detail
2007 Ford F-150 Pick-up -- 4WD -- Hybrid Bi-Fuel: gasoline OR propane gas -- Save big $$ ! -- Combined Energy Services, a family owned & operated propane gas, fuel oil, compressed gas company is selling off another late model, fleet maintained vehicle. This truck was used by one of our salesman, never used for any serious work / abuse. BI-FUEL: This truck has a $6000 Technocarb bi-fuel kit installed which allows this truck to run on gasoline OR money saving, clean propane gas. Propane powered vehicles run amazingly great today vs the 1980s. Difference today is: FUEL INJECTION and the ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM) whicch regulates how much fuel is being burned and adjusts the "mapping" of fuel so today's vehicles can run on straight unleaded, E5, E15, E85. This ECM tricks the engine to allow it to run seamlessly on propane. The engine starts on gasoline automatically, after about a minute when the engine is warm, the ECM switches the engine over to PROPANE without any involvement of the driver. If you run out of propane, the truck switches back to gasoline automatically with no stalling or driver involvement. ($6000 is installed cost with kit, tank & labor by dealer). WHY RUN ON PROPANE: True hy-brid and MONEY SAVINGS!! Any retail propane dealer will make you a better deal than 'retail' if you are a steady "autogas" customer that refills at their facility. Today we market Propane Autogas at our facilities to the public for $2.09 per gallon WITH road taxes here in New York. Call some local propane dealers and get some pricing if you have an interest. Gasoline here is $3.60 per gallon, so $1.51 savings PER gallon. Same MPG, same performance, no smell, no difference at all. Check out the manufacturer: http://www.technocarb.com/ This truck has a 60 gal propane tank in the bed, remote electronic gauge on the dashboard tells you how much gas is in the tank. But when you're saving $1.50 per gallon -- this truck is a clean running, money saver. Change the engine oil at 3000 miles and it comes out clean. Amazingly clean with propane.NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RUN ON PROPANE -- WE WILL TAKE $800 OFF THE WINNING BID PRICE AND WE WILL REMOVE THE TANK FROM THE BED. (or cut you a check for $800 if we can't figure out how to make this happen on ebay). The truck will run fine and you can add a new tank anytime you wish later. We use these tanks over and over in our own fleet, but we know it will make sense for a buyer to keep it honestly. Don't go to the local hardware store that fills BBQ cylinders - call a propane dealer for a rate at their local plant. What else does this truck have: 4 wheel drive4.6 liter / V-8 automatic transmissionspotless interior except for small tear on driver's seat as shown in photorecently detailed / waxed, cleaned inside and outruns perfect (on gasoline or propane)This truck is located in Monticello NY and can be seen / driven Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm. We can also provide a listing of local repair garages you can call on your own to come take a look if you're far away, get a third party opinion. Or just google "monticello ny auto repair" and find one on your own. This truck is very clean. We spin them out under 90,000 miles and keep our sales staff in new vehicles as our front line representatives to our customers. There is no warranty implied or expressed, so we suggest come check it out or hire someone to do that for you. You could slap a plate on this truck and drive it to California with no fear tomorrow. Note: the two way radio & antenna will be removed prior to sale end. Feel free to ask questions, will be glad to try to get answers. Deposit expected within 24 hours of closing, payment in full / truck pick up within 10 days unless approved before end of auction. Thanks for looking. We'll also be selling this summer....Ford E250 service van, Volvo diesel truck with 50' RO crane, 2004 International 2600 gal propane tanker truck, 2006 GMC 17,500 gvwr rack truck with lift gate. Watch for these later when listed.
