1997 Jeep TJ. Vehicle is lifted with a Rough Country lift kit. I was advised the transmission was upgraded from the AX5 to the AX15. When this upgrade was made the front drive shaft was not replaced. This vehicle does come with a salvage title. Not sure what the issue was but it drives fine. Rear tires are pretty worn. Front tires are in better shape. Please ask any questions you may have as I don't want there to be any surprises. This vehicle is being relisted due to an error on my part. I originally listed this Jeep as 4.0L (6 cylinder). It is actually the 2.5L (4 cylinder). I did not catch the error in time to end the auction. To answer some of the questions I received last time it was listed: This vehicle is equipped with AC however the compressor is out and the AC is not working.I do have a bikini top with the Jeep but have never had it installed.There is no apparent rust on this vehicle.The drive shaft was never replaced when the transmission was upgraded. I do not have the original drive shaft.On Jun-26-13 at 19:04:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Several questions have been asked about the drive shaft. To clarify the front drive shaft was not replaced when the transmission was upgraded. The rear drive shaft is there and the jeep is running.
