Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda. This was an original 383 4 bbl "N" code California car. 95% RUST FREE California Car. The previous owner purchased the car in California and brought it back to the Midwest for an complete restoration over 15 years ago including stripping it down to bare metal and complete repaint in original RED with hockey stick 383 decal package (this is one of the straightest CUDA's I have ever seen -- IT it beautiful!), He replaced the engine with a brand new Muscle Motors 500 CI stroker engine less than 2000 miles ago in 07 (see Muscle Motors order in pics) (Over $10K and around 600 hp!! -- YES IT RUNS GREAT ON PREMIUM 92-93 PUMP FUEL - 10.8 to 1 compression!!! You can also go to 11.8 compression with different head gaskets)). In addition, the original Pistol Grip 4spd was replaced with a NEW Keisler 5 spd Pistol Grip transmission aND Bell Housing (another +$7K). I have all the engine and trans specs and build sheets. The mechanical clutch linkage was replaced with a hydraulic system -- VERY SMOOTH SHIFTING, VERY easy to use clutch pedal, and lots of gearing choices for city, highway, or track. This Cuda was originally a power brake car, but is set up for manual brakes now - they work very well, but the next owner can easily add a brake boost and go back to power - same with the steering. The car has never been on the track, even though there is a 6 point roll cage installed -- (fairly easy to remove if desired). The frame is "PINNED" the Leaf Springs are moved in to tighten up the traction and ride. THIS IS THE TIGHTEST 70 CUDA I have EVER driven -- VERY precise. All new black Legendary interior (seat covers, carpet, and headliner), Dash completely restored, NEW DOOR PANELS, ORIGINAL Tic Toc Tach Dash (Complete but some of the gauges need rebuilt), Fiberglass front Bumper, 15" ORIGINAL Rally Wheels, NEW Nitto EXTREEM DRAG STREET SLICKS in the back, and like new BF Goodrich classic radials in the front. Front Disk Brakes, drum rears, High Flow headers, stainless 3" exhaust all the way to the original rectangle tips thru the rear valance -- Sounds amazing!! The underside of the car is in excellent condition with a few small signs of surface rust. The entire underside is SOLID! The trunk is very clean with a little surface rust but all very solid. All the body fold lips under the door panels, the trunk, fender wells, etc are in excellent condition with CLEAN metal lines -- NO FILLER IN THE DOOR SEAMS (CHECK OUT THE LAST FEW PICS - TRAILER PIC WAS HOW IT WAS WHEN THE LAST OWNER BOUGHT IT OVER 15 YEARS AGO OUT OF CALIFORNIA - it was clean 90++% RUST FREE!!! - THE OTHER PICS SHOW HOW THEY STRIPPED THE ENTIRE CAR TO THE METAL, EPOXY UNDERCOAT, AND AMAZING ORIGINAL COLOR PAINT OVER 15 YEARS AGO.), This is a great example of a well preserved like original CLEAN '70 CUDA with some of the BEST UPGRADES in the Industry (Muscle motors 500 CI engine, Keisler 5 Spd pistol grip with Carbon Fiber Pistol Grip, hydraulic clutch that is very easy to use - even it traffic!! Legendary Interior, and beautiful condition MOPAR Body! I am also including the original "double scoop" hood painted in the same red as the car. Now the fun stuff -- This car is very fast - (Sick Fast), a blast to drive, and very manageable in traffic -- EVEN on a 95+ degree day! Runs cool all the time, starts every time, and is a blast to drive. If you are very picky here are a few things you might want to do - a few tweaks like the chrome around the front grill, repair of some of the original gauges (there are separate oil pressure, temp, fuel, and Tach gauges to keep track of performance), I have the original heater components if you want them (all of the heater box, core, hoses, etc were removed). Maybe a few other cosmetics that I am sure others can find, but this car is 92+% there -- 100 for me, I love it just the way it is, but it is time to sell this toy to get another one . . . This car really is ready to get in and drive as is, OR tweak as you desire. There is over $50K invested in this 'Cuda. I am asking $29,700 OBO - AND IS SOLD IN "AS IS CONDITION". This Cuda is being sold AS IS, BUT the winner can inspect the car within 3 days after the auction ends - IF THERE IS ANY MAJOR ISSUE THAT I DID NOT DESCRIBE - THE WINNER CAN RE-NEGOTIATE OR REFUSE THE CAR. I will listen to any REAONABLE offer. If you have a serious interest, Email me your number and I will call you. >>HERE IS A LINK TO MY CUDA VIDEO walk around with the engine running VIDEO ON YOUTUBE.com -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uukcXzOEK40&feature=youtu.be
