Up for auction is a 64 gto tri-power,4 speed hardtop,factory V VA paint which is red with a black pin stripe. The interior was black. I got this from a friend of mine that had it many years sitting beside his house. As you can see there is a oblong hole cut in the hood. This is a Texas car that was out of San Antonio and was raced back in the day in 70s and early 80s with a duel quaded 421 and a scoop was bolted to the hood for air for the set up. Raced in South Texas and North Texas back in the day. Still has the nitros bottle holder in the trunk. I do not like hardtops GTOs and have a ton of post cars that need to take priorty. The trunk has been replaced and the original bracing was left in as it was good. A couple of patches were put in the floor. The car has the typical rust that these cars have and needs some spots repaired and a ton of work that is typical. The cars engine,trans,and posi rearin Im sure had been left in pieces on some drag strip during its time of being raced. I have some 64 gto buckets for the front and I believe a good back seat. A good body man can weld it in where you would never know there was a hole. You will need to get a title through your state title company as I only received a Bill of Sale on the car.
