A much more powerful motor, combined with an improved computer-controlled suspension, puts the bite back in Jaguar with this supercharged 2002 XKR Convertible. It offers a great combination of luxury, performance and open-air touring. It comes with a full slate of comfort and convenience features, including an Alpine audio system, GPS Navigation system and park assist. This is a well maintained car that has spent its life in Texas and Florida, so it hasn't been exposed to the road salt and rough conditions of northern roads. It looks , runs an drives like a newer car with less miles. The exterior is in great shape, and the paint shines all around No dents or dings. Exterior features include fog lamps, 18" wheels and classic good looks. Sensors in the rear bumper are part of a system that alerts you if you get too close to an object while in reverse gear. The top is power operated, and also in excellent condition. The interior is also in very good shape. The seats have no rips or tears, and aren't showing any significant wear. The carpets and door panels are also in fine shape. Both front seats have power controls and the driver's seat has memory settings. Both front seats are also heated. The rear seats are in equally nice condition. This Jaguar comes with a nice selection luxury and convenience features: Real wood trim (including the steering wheel and shift knob); Power windows, locks and mirrors; Remote Entry; power adjustable wheel, cold auto air conditioning; and much more. The factory audio system is an Alpine unit with an in-dash cassette player and a CD changer in the trunk.. The XKR comes LOADED with comfort , convenience, and technology features. It includes a GPS navigation system The manual is with the car. There are also several maintenance records with the car. Aside from regular maintenance items, the supercharger has been serviced and the transmission has been rebuilt. The boot for the top and a cargo net are also included. This 4.0 liter V8 runs very, very well. Its rated at 370 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque. That's 76 more hp and 84 more lb-ft of torque than the base XK8. To keep up with the engine, the XKR gets Jaguar's Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS), which uses two-stage damping to improve adhesion while maintaining a cushy ride.
