Up for auction is this 1965 Mustang Fastback. Freshly restored to better than new condition. Body work includes: Left and right front aprons, radiator core support, Full floor pan, left & right trunk floor & drop-off panels, rear cross member, tail light panel, left & right outer wheel house & quarter skins. The vehicle has been stripped to bare medal and refinished with DuPont materials. Drive line features are: Reconditioned 5.0L roller cam engine w/B303 cam, polished 4V intake manifold & Street Demon carburetor, chrome tyi-y headers w/turbo mufflers, Rebuilt T-5 5 speed manual transmission, Hydraulic clutch conversion, New 8" Posi 3rd member w/3.55 gear ratio. Suspension and steering features Include: 11/8" hellwig sway bar. new upper & lower control arms, new tie rods and draglink, new strut rod bushings, new idler arm, 1" lowering coil springs (front). New Borgeson power steering box, 1968 mustang collapsible steering column. New 1" lowering rear leaf springs & shackles, New Gabriel shocks on all four corners. Power disc brakes front, drum brakes in rear. Heating & Cooling: Champion 4 row aluminum radiator, Classic Auto Air (in dash) air conditioning/heating system. Interior & conveniences: 1970 Mustang high back bucket seats w/ comfort weave upholstery, 1965 pony door panels, New black carpet, new white headliner & visors, 1968 Shelby style center console, Custom autosound am/fm radio w/center & kick panel speakers, Sebring style stearing wheel. Exterior/appearance: Shelby style front valance, Shelby fiberglass hood, bullet style outside mirrors, Quarter vents removed and quarter windows installed, dual exhaust rear valance,17" Ultra 454 wheels w/ Sumitomo 235/45ZR17 tires (front) 245/45ZR17 rear. All brake lines/fuel lines, fuel tank are new. The testing and tuning is complete with about 300 miles on the vehicle. This Mustang rides out great and turns heads everywhere you take it.
