Here is a really cool project, If I do not sell it I will build it myself, its just not on the top of my list but I will get to it. 1949 Dodge Short school bus , the motor is there but it needs a lot of work, I have a 2001 8.1 Vortec engine and allison tranny from a GMC truck w/ only 54000 miles on it still mounted in the front of the frame so you could cut the front clip from the bus, weld this in place and you would have an awesome bus. Motorhome , rat rod ,hot rod with this set up you can build almost anything. The motor and tranny will only go if you hit the buy it now and is not in the auction. If you buy the bus in the auction you can have the motor and tranny for an extra $3000. I am starting the auction at $2000 for the bus only and thats a bargain if it went for that price. It does have some dents , I am not seeing any major rust or issues, some kids broke some windows before I got it but the windshield and the wind wings are good and look really cool. Make sure you check your transport cost before you bid. My son might deliver for a price , Let me know your location and I will ask him. I am sorry , I double checked my listing and the box for a buy it now is still checked but it does not show up in my listing. Its not important unless someone wants to buy it now and I don't know what to do about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. He wrote "The 4x4 plus the front sheet metal grill headlights are military. List it in military vehicles for better bids." Thank you for pointing that out and I hope it helps someone in their decision On Jun-19-13 at 17:03:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I posted more pics so you can see more. the front driveline is still in the bus and rear driveline is the one laying on the ground. The tire size is 9.00 x 16 and the rear door has been spot welded shut. repair the hinges and should be easy to cut loose. The motor is a 6 cyl and in rough condition. Best to buy my motor and tranny or put a cummins in it.
