1950 ford f-1 pickup truck. I bought it from a guy who had started to convert it to a 4X4. The body sits on top of a late 70's ford f-100 4X4 chassis, with a 351 windsor and I believe a C-6 transmission. It is not far into the project, and certainly NOT driveable. This truck comes with a clear Missouri title in my name. The body of the truck is in great condition. The front fenders are solid. There is a little bubbling in the paint in the front seams of the driver side, but this truck has been painted a couple of times, so it is hard to tell how good or bad that spot is. The inside of the fenders looksto be solid. There is a dent in the hood, but very repairable. The cab is in great condition. The rear fenders appear to be solid as well. The bed has some condition problems at the very rear and I was planning on replacing it. If you are a good metalworker, it could be saved. If not, buy a repro. Tailgate is rough. Overall, great body for your rod project or restoration. Or, finish the project. I have no idea about the condition of the 351 Windsor. It looks rough, and there is no carb on it.
