This outstanding original paint, original owner, original miles 1977 911S Targa was purchased new here in Sacramento CA at Wes Lasher Audi/Porsche (no longer in business) and has never left sunny Sacramento California. Garaged since new, this car has been used lightly and meticulously maintained by just 1 owner. MOTOR & DRIVETRAIN: in September of '08 and less than 1000 miles ago, this car received a low mile 3.2L transplant, along with a new clutch, flywheel, transmission fluid flush, rear shocks, and several other items. Anything and everything the car needed at that time was addressed, replaced, rebuilt, or resealed. The work was all performed at Sacramento's premier independent Porsche specialist IPB-Autosport. Car is equipped with the optional for 77 external up front loop oil cooler and runs very cool, even on the hot days. Transmission is light and smooth, shifts like butter. This car is in perfect, up to date serviced mechanical condition. It has it's Ca BAR engine Vin approval sticker (pictured) and passes California's stringent smog test with ease. BODY & PAINT: 1 word, Stunning....make that 2 words, Stunning & original! Unbelievable 100% original Continental Orange (paint code 107) shines brilliantly. Unfaded with very few road marks and chips. No touch ups. Pictures don't begin to do justice to just how much this color stands out. Galvanized steel construction and 100% rust free. INTERIOR: seats have all been professionally recovered in leather. Top was recovered along with new headliner and seals. Everything else is complete and original including carpet and all in way above average condition. SUMMERY: car is compete with it's original tool kit, owners manuals with service stamps, records, 1977 sales brochure, spare tire, jack, plastic gloves, touch up paint, air compressor and Porsche factory provided protective plastic. Everything works as it should on this car including the little things, like the factory cruise control, power antenna and most importantly, the Air Conditioning!
