Vehicle Detail

The Rocket III is the largest displacement production motorcycle made at 2300 cc. That's 140 cubic inches. If you're looking for a Power Cruiser you know that torque is where it's at. In factory trim these bikes make at least 120 foot pounds of torque from 2000 to 5500 RPM, with a peak of 141 foot pounds. For comparison, the new Harley 103 peaks at 100 foot pounds. The only engine modification is a Triumph catalytic converter eliminator for a little more sound. (I still have the original catalytic converter which will go with the bike if you want to go back.) This bike is FUN! This bike has a few custom touches and a lot of chrome. The Corbin Beetle Bags make an already unique bike really stand out. The factory rear turn signals were lowered and narrowed for an OEM look with the Beetle Bags. It also has the license plate relocation kit to make US tags fit like they should. These bikes came from the factory with a lot of chrome and this one has a lot more. Most of the chrome pieces are genuine Triumph accessories. The extra chrome starts with the Triumph Front Axle Caps, then goes to the Triumph Front Brake Caliper Plates, Triumph Front Brake Master Cylinder Cap, two low mounted chrome driving lights, Triumph Chrome Oil tank, Triumph Chrome Oil Tank Bezel, chrome exhaust flange covers, Triumph Chrome Frame Covers, full set of Triumph Chrome Engine and Frame Bolt and Screw Covers, chrome rear swing arm cover, chrome driveshaft cover, Triumph Chrome Rear Caliper Plate and a chrome drive dust cover. There is a chrome license plate bracket and chrome auxiliary LED strobe brake lights. It is equipped with a Wolo/Bad Boy 140 dB air horn mounted in the stock location. (I have the original horn which will go with the bike and can be easily retrofitted.) There's a fresh VA State Safety Inspection on a chrome bracket that doesn't expire until 4/14. I made a few easily reversible modifications to make the bike more comfortable. This bike has the Triumph accessory gel seat. I swapped the handlebars for a set from a Sportster for a narrower feel and it has foam grips. It has the Rivco Pullback Risers, 1 inch up and back, installed. I still have the stock risers which will go with the bike. The bike is equipped with aftermarket ISO foot pegs with extenders to get my leg away from the exhaust. (I still have the original handlebars, grips and foot pegs if you want to go back.) I also have a Triumph Windshield and Fixing Kit (brackets) that is not installed but goes with the bike. It has 16,966 miles on it now. This bike is in very good shape, needs nothing and is ready to ride. I want to be very clear about the condition. It is a used bike and has a couple blemishes. There are paint blemishes on each side of the Beetle Bags where they were scraped. They have been touched up using matching Cardinal Red touch up paint. These spots are noticeable from a couple feet but are invisible at less than 10 feet. I will include 2 types of touch up paint which will make them all but disappear with patient application. There is a small dent in one of the mirrors and scratches on the top triple tree. There are a few other scratches in the paint here and there that will show up under close inspection. Overall this bike is in very good condition. It’s rust free having been stored inside under a cover. The original Owner's Manual and a Service Manual on disk comes with the bike. There's nothing else on the road like it. It's not a "me too" bike for inexperienced riders.
