This bike is very nice and usable as is. It is in exceptional running condition, and believe that it was restored about 30 years ago, then barely used. Was kept in a private collection for at least 30 years, and I recently bought the entire collection to get a particular bike I wanted. All the others are for sale as my collection is too large. I have checked out everything, and find nothing wrong with it. It needed a seat cover, tires and a petcock. All replaced with new items. Tires are Metzeler C block tires just like original. All that it needs now is a rider! I was told it was used in Germany, and it is fitted with original bar end turn signals which I believe were required in Germany at the time. Not sure but believe most of the paint is original. Striping tape has been used, but have noticed that several places where the tape has been removed, the worn original painted striping can be seen underneath. The tail section has a small crack which can easily be repaired. BONUS FOR BUY IT NOW: An original passenger seat that bolts on the rack will be included if bought with buy it now. The rubber would need to be replaced, but covers are available. I encourage use of Buy it now. Have had some unhappy buyers before that did not realize that when reserve is met buy it now goes away.
