1972 PORSCHE 911 E TARGA WITH CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY "COA" FROM PORSCHE. BACK FOR SALE DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER WITH GOOD FEEDBACK!! MAKE SURE YOU CAN PAY FOR THE CAR BEFORE YOU BID PLEASE. NOTE: COA shows all numbers match, except for transmission - original transmission was changed to 915 at the time the engine was modified/rebuilt. 1972 Porsche 911 E Targa with it's FACTORY ORIGINAL 2.4 engine rebuilt/modified to 2.7 RS specs, which has mechanical fuel injection. The original black vinyl interior has been nicely preserved under a coat of midnight blue vinyl paint.The Targa needs to be refinished, but still functions. Car comes with a 1992 Sony 10 disc CD & cassette system with amp below seat, power door lock cylinders were added to the car that function with a remote control, sport bucket seats, factory test ducktail spoiler, new rear center valance, new exhaust tip, many other misc new/oem seals/parts, front S bumper & 7x15 Fuchs. The previous owner did the professional rebuild through Eisendbud's European AutoHaus of Denver, CO & they are still in business. Factory Silver Exterior was repainted Silver when car was involved in a fender bender with the second owner. ODO shows 120K & engine rebuild was done 20K ago approx.Car has some exterior rust spots but is minimum for a car of this age. This car has only had 3 owners, the last two owners have had the car about 20 years each & I still know the second owner. This car could easily be restored to perfection, but is a great daily driver just AS-IS. ENGINE REBUILD SPECS: NOTE: The UNOBTAINABLE S & RS parts used in the engine rebuild alone are worth a small mint.Original 2.4 E engine was built to a Factory Stock European Version 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 specs these were not brought to the US)MFI System was sent to H&R in NY for recalibration to RS Specs 2.7 RS Pistons Installed S - Cams Installed Case Bored 2.7 S Throttle Bodies, Ports, Stacks 2.7 RS Pump Factory 2.7 RS HP 210 DIN Ratios 8:5:1 Everything is Factory Stock in terms of the engine, whatever would have been done to produce a 1973 European 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was done to the cars engine, nothing more & nothing less.
