This is a 1978 Pontiac trans am. I have owned this car for about 6 years. I originally purchased it from a guy in Arkansas. since I have owned it I have replaced the fuel pump, carburetor, plug wires,pinion seal, brakes. On the inside I replaced the carpet, headliner,fuel gauge. Redyed the dash, center console, trim panels and installed sound deadening material under carpet and behind trim panels.It has aftermarket stereo in glove box with amp in truck. has original radio in vehicle and 8 track player,but they are not hooked up and I don't know if they work or not. It has two new back tires. this vehicle has a pontiac 400 6.6 motor, It is a automatic. Has Holley Street Avenger 770cfm carb. Edelbrock intake. Hooker headers with flow master exhaust and Holley mechanical fuel pump. previous owner had installed a mild cam also. This vehicle runs and drives well. I've never had any problems with the car. Last summer I used it as a daily driver for about 2 weeks in 90+ degree weather and it never over heated while sitting in traffic. it does have rust spot behind the drivers side rear tire. also the paint is cracking on the roof just behind the t tops. floor panels have been replaced and trunk pan looks solid. Power locks never have worked, also the air conditioner was removed before I bought it. sometimes the drivers window stick and you have to wiggle the wire. Also the dash has one crack in it. this car is listed as pick up only.
