Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1966 Numbers Matching 427ci 425hp L72 Corvette Stingray ü 427ci 425hp L72 engine (code IP). ü Tuxedo Black (code 900) ü White-on-Bright Blue (code 450) Interior Well over $100K invested in this car! Look at the show quality paint and the attention to detail throughout this car. Listen to this heart-pounding big block engine! This Corvette is extremely dependable, starts right up, idles perfectly and drives tight and straight down the road with tons of power! Highlights: Ø Matching numbers 427ci/425hp engine within very clean/detailed compartment · Starts on first turn of the key and idles perfectly (see video). · The engine compartment of this 1966 Corvette 427 Convertible has been extensively detailed, clean paint, complete with ignition shielding, correct braided ignition wires, etc. (see pics). Ø 4 Speed – shifts smoothly through all gears. Ø Glove box tag reads: · Body 450 DN · S5310 Body · 900AA Paint· G18 (body build date) Ø Paint (code 900 AA) is show quality with an excellent deep mirror shine… it’s hard to find any flaws, so I’d list the paint as 9 out of 10. You’ll see that the paint is also in near perfect condition all around the door areas – showing off the chrome and those little unpainted nuts, door pieces, etc. Ø Interior is simply beautiful and must be seen to show its stunning visual impact against the black exterior. · Interior is in excellent condition, from the seat covers, steering wheel, door panels, center console, gauges, and carpet, etc (see pics). · I tried to keep some of the original dash components/switches because they are in great shape with very little pitting. · Seatbelts: seatbelt tags read “E866” based off the car’s build date because the belts would have been completed at the factory ~3-5 weeks prior to the car’s date of March 18 (11th week of the year, ref by G-18, G being March and 18 being the day of the month), Also Note: HAMILL seatbelts were used by GM from mid February, 1966 (VIN 14393) thru the end of production and used exclusively from early March (VIN 16189) until end of production. Note, my Vin is 16957, so it had HAMILL RCF-65 push button/bow tie seatbelts. The car currently has aftermarket ‘white’ seatbelts installed because I’m having the ‘blue’ HAMILL seatbelts professionally restored, and they should be finished in 2 weeks. I will forward them to the new owner to install. Ø Standard five-spoke stamped wheel covers which appear to be original because of the little pitting and slight age as seen upon close inspection. They are an understated counterpoint to the muscle side pipes and hood bulge for the 427. Ø EXTRA SET OF WHEELS/COVERS/GOLDLINE TIRES: I also have a full set of original date correct wheels, and five spoke wheel covers, mounted on brand new Goldline Tires (see pics) - all ready for NCRS. I only use this set for car shows, as the tires in the pictures drive much smoother. I spent well over $2000 on this extra set. They are included in this sale at no extra charge. Ø Frame is clean and rust-free. Ø Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition, showing no rust, pitting, dings, or other wear. Ø Convertible top is new, and is in excellent condition with a clear window. No hard top. Ø Weather-stripping is in very good condition Ø Car drives like an absolute dream! Good luck! Sorry, No Trades. No scammers, please. By placing the winning bid, you are entering into a binding agreement to buy this car in 'as is' condition. You should inspect any car you plan on buying on Ebay, especially vintage cars. I highly recommend you look at my car, inspect it and then drive it! Additional Comments: although this car shows very well in the current photos, some were taken during a very heavy pollen day here in Atlanta. The pollen was so thick that I decided to snap a few pics and make a short video then place the car right back into the garage. On some close ups, you may notice the green pollen haze lightly dusting the black paint. I’ve since cleaned the car and it remains under the cloth cover in my climate controlled garage. It’s show ready. On May-11-13 at 10:35:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you to those who mentioned the "435hp" typo in the title. As you mentioned, I listed it correctly in the Ad, but I must have hit the wrong key when typing it into the Title. It is supposed to read "425HP", not 435 HP. Also, many of you wanted some pics of the engine pad and rear end. I've updated them in the photo area. Best, Glenn
