Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a a very nice show quality 1968 Camaro RS SS big block automatic. I am only selling this car for a business adventure otherwise I would keep this car forever. It has plenty of power and looks to kill. It is very hard to buy a car long distance so if you want to call me that is not a problem. If you want to send a apraiser no problem either. I will list most of what I know and or remember. Driveline: The engine is a Chevy big block 398 bored over .30 completley rebuilt from new bearing, rings, 10:1 pistons, waterpump, fuel pump, oil pump etc. Starts with a competion Holley duble pumper carb. through an Edlebrock intake rebuilt engine RV cam and custom headers through Flow Master mufflers and dual exhaust exit over the axle (great sound at idle). The transmission is a turbo 400 with 2500 stall rebuilt at the same time the engine was out. The rear axle is a 12 bolt posi unit 3.73 gears. Has new brakes and axle bearings done when rear axle was rebuilt. Brakes are disc and has new brake lines, master cyclinder, power booster etc. Has new suspension, control arms, tie rods, gear box and new powersteering pump and lines. The car has new alternator, battery, and starter. Cooled by a new big block 4 core radiator, new waterpump with new GM hoses, new belts. Exterior: is a Butternut yellow with RS accents and blacked out rear for big block SS. This paint is in mint condition and needs nothing rated at #1 and pass inspection from any judge. The car started as a frame off restoration bottom floor painted satin black while engine, trans and rear axle were out. The car started the restoration as a rust free and damage free car. It has the original fenders and quarter panels, trunk floor and looks perfect. It has been blocked then sealed, and blocked again and primered, blocked and painted and blocked and clearcoated. ($10,000 paint work alone ) All new molding were added, new emblems, weather strip, windshield moldings, hood extractors, new wiper arms, new wheel opening moldings, new door handles, new locks. Interior: has new carpet, new dash pad, new scuff plates, new kickpanels, new window cranks, new door handles, new arm rests and new vent doors. Has a horse shoe shifter and correct SS steering wheel. All gauges were replaced and all electrical works including the RS headlight doors (upgraded to new electric motors) Has new wiring harness inside and in the engine area. Misc: has 7 in.Rally wheels in the front and 8in. in the rear with new BF Goodrich tires. Has complete new brake system rotors, hardware etc. New suspension with new powersteering pump and new gear box. New charging system, battery, alternator and starter. New HEI distributor with new plug wires and plugs. Has new rear traction bars. I ask for a deposit of $500 within 24 hours of winning bidder and balance due within 5 business days. Feel free to ask any questions and ask for any pictures I will post or send whatever you need. Shipping to be paid by winning bidder.
