Vehicle Detail
For sale is a very nice solid 1969 El Camino black. I got this truck on a trade for a SS Chevelle. I don't know much about it other than what I see. Looks to be very solid and drives great has a a strong 350 V-8 and rebuilt turbo 350 auto transmission. I will list everything I know good and bad. I was told this was a 2 owner car from seller who got the car from his uncle (1st owner) Exterior has than a driver quality paint than shines great with a red SS stripe added. It has a tonneau cover to match the paint, very nice and looks new. I added the Firestone Wide Oval red lines mounted on 7 inch rally wheels.( they came off my personal SS Camaro show car) They give it a nice look with the red stripe. Original bumpers with original sheetmetal, original fenders etc. looks very well cared for. Doors open and close with ease and windows all roll up and down with no effort, looks to have newer weather strips. Interior has a bench seat with very nice dash. The dash pad looks new and has no cracks or fading. The carpet looks new, door panels look original but very nice. Brand new Rally steering wheel. All gauges work and has a nice Kenwood c/d player with Pioneer speakers. Door locks work, wipers work, turn signals work, headlight work. Powertrain is a very nice and strong Chevy 350 engine 4 brl with LT1 valve covers long tube headers with dual exhaust, has a rebuilt turbo 350 with a 2500 stall converter has a nice clean shift evertime and rear axle is a 10 bolt posi unit. The car has power steering and power disc brakes (new pads). Has newer battery, new big block radiator, this car runs great handles as new and stops without issue. The bad as I know it : driver edge seat piping coming loose. small leak at rear axle cover, paint has small defects such as scratches etc. I did notice some small bubbles in the paint on the rear next to the wheel wheel. (being black I could not even get good pictures of them) I don't think total cost on all repairs would be over $1000. I just don't have the time to mess with it. Thank you for looking and feel free to ask any questions. I would ask for a deposit of $500 with in 24 hours of auctions end and balance due within 5 business days. Shipping to be paid for by winning bidder. The reserve is my starting price so bid and it could be yours.
