This is my truck, I'm selling it, and I'm writing all these wordsabout my truck. No slick salesman who bought some junk at a dealer auction and is "launching it" on ebay saying he..."drove it for 50 miles and it checks out !" I was stupid and thought because we had a mild winter last year that maybe I could get by with my rear wheel drive sedan through the winter in the hilly parts of New York State where we live. So as things started to get bad and the snows started coming, I went to see my friend at the Ford Dealership, he had just taken in this truck. I had belonged to a woman that had it for 8 years and took extremely good care of it. As soon as I got it, I took it to a oil change place where they rip you off, trying to sell you an air filter for a $39.00 !!! They looked at the truck, changed the oil and said, all the fluids were like new, and the filters !! I knew I found a special truck. It drives like it looks. A general impression is so important. As the snow piled up outside, I would press the "remote start" on the key chain while drinking coffee inside. I'd put on my boots, get in the cab, pull the lever back into 4 wheel high and I just had a smile from ear to ear. There are no excuses with this truck, some dealers list, ........"runs good on the highway, but rough at idle"...........that's insane, FIX IT !! This truck is 100%, has all the nice options, is solid, runs and looks perfect. Someone installed a JVC receiver replacing the stock radio. At first I didn't like it, but I soon realized what a nice sound system. I burn a few CD's and they work great, or I'll get my I-pod and connect to the AUX port and it also sounds great. Aside from that the truck is 100% stock. The bed looks like it was never used, this was diffinitely NOT a work truck. It has a RHINO liner spray, that is mint. Now that the spring days are getting here, I've used the A/C several times and it 's very very cold. I have a photo showing a temp. gage in the vent, and it's blowing very cold air with the A/C on. What's the worst part of the truck? Aside from a few tiny marks in the paint, the clearcoat on the wheels need refinishing. But I figured the next owner would probably want to put another set of wheels on the truck so I left it that way. Ohh, ............by the way,I'm a nut about keeping my truck clean ! I don't smoke and the truck does not smell like smoke. I have it washed every couple of weeks by hand !! I included a photo of the truck being washed. I don't believe you will find a nicer truck anywhere.Detailed Condition.This is a great previously owned vehicle.This is a smoke-free automobile.No damage on this vehicle.This is a garage kept vehicle.There are no known defects in this vehicle.The mileage represented on this vehicle is accurate.There are no noticeable dings on the exterior of this vehicle.This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission.All power equipment is functioning properly.The exterior of this vehicle is extra clean.Extra clean interior. What's The Story ?
This is my truck, I'm selling it, and I'm writing all these wordsabout my truck. No slick salesman who bought some junk at a dealer auction and is "launching it" on ebay saying he..."drove it for 50 miles and it checks out !"
I was stupid and thought because we had a mild winter last year that maybe I could get by with my rear wheel drive sedan through the winter in the hilly parts of New York State where we live.
So as things started to get bad and the snows started coming, I went to see my friend at the Ford Dealership, he had just taken in this truck. I had belonged to a woman that had it for 8 years and took extremely good care of it.
As soon as I got it, I took it to a oil change place where they rip you off, trying to sell you an air filter for a $39.00 !!! They looked at the truck, changed the oil and said, all the fluids were like new, and the filters !! I knew I found a special truck.
It drives like it looks. A general impression is so important. As the snow piled up outside, I would press the "remote start" on the key chain while drinking coffee inside. I'd put on my boots, get in the cab, pull the lever back into 4 wheel high and I just had a smile from ear to ear.
There are no excuses with this truck, some dealers list, ........"runs good on the highway, but rough at idle"...........that's insane, FIX IT !! This truck is 100%, has all the nice options, is solid, runs and looks perfect. Someone installed a JVC receiver replacing the stock radio. At first I didn't like it, but I soon realized what a nice sound system. I burn a few CD's and they work great, or I'll get my I-pod and connect to the AUX port and it also sounds great. Aside from that the truck is 100% stock.
The bed looks like it was never used, this was diffinitely NOT a work truck. It has a RHINO liner spray, that is mint. Now that the spring days are getting here, I've used the A/C several times and it 's very very cold. I have a photo showing a temp. gage in the vent, and it's blowing very cold air with the A/C on.
What's the worst part of the truck?
Aside from a few tiny marks in the paint, the clearcoat on the wheels need refinishing. But I figured the next owner would probably want to put another set of wheels on the truck so I left it that way.
Ohh, ............by the way,I'm a nut about keeping my truck clean ! I don't smoke and the truck does not smell like smoke. I have it washed every couple of weeks by hand !! I included a photo of the truck being washed. I don't believe you will find a nicer truck anywhere.
