Here it is- I am selling my 1967 custom Camaro convertible SS clone just in time for summer. Here are the details as they appeared in Super Chevy Magazine: By The Numbers Year, make, model – 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Performance (dyno, racing specs) – estimated at 550 hp. Engine- 350 stroked to 406 cubic inches built by Precision Auto Works, LIC, NY Type- small block chevy Block - Motown block Oiling - Moroso oil pan with Melling Oil Pump Rotating assembly – Eagle Crank with JE Flat Top Pistons and Speed Pro Plasma Rings running about 10 to 1 compression & Fluidamper Harmonic Balancer Cylinder heads – AFR with 195 cc, 1.60 ex and 2.080 Int. Flat milled to 71 cc’s with Comp Pkg porting with L98 Angle plugs. Camshaft – Crane cam at 286-286, 230-230 and 560 lift @110 Valvetrain – Comp cams valves & springs with stud girdle and rocker arms Induction – K & N Aair Filter on Holley 750 on 1” spacer on top of Weiand Team G manifold Ignition- Mallory Distributor with MSD 6A box. Cooling – Be-Cool Radiator with 2 electric fans Fuel system- Holley Fuel Pump and new gas tank Exhaust – Doug Thorley Chrome headers with copper head gaskets into 3 inch exhaust with Flowmaster 40 mufflers Fasteners- ARP studs and bolts Drivetrain- Transmission/shifter- Art Carr Turbo 400 comp tranny with full manual drag v/b. H/d super torque converter w/ full forged front cover 9.5”. Hurst V-Matic 2 console shifter. Driveshaft – stock steel. Rear axle – Strange center piece with 3.42 Motive gears and LPW Racing Products Cover. Chassis – stock Front suspension- Performance suspension components including front and rear sway bars, coil springs and KYB shocks, Rear suspension- New leaf springs, KYB shocks and Global West frame connectors Brakes- SSBC four wheel disc brakes. Interior Seats- interior redone new OEM from Classic Industries Dashboard- stock dash with Auto Meter Speedo, Tach and gauges Stereo - Pioneer dual knob Wiring- 15 Circuit Painless wiring Column – Ididit Tilt steering column and Lokar speedometer cable. Comforts – lots of Dynamat, new carpet from Classic Industries Body/paint – stock except for 2” cowl hood but it does have a new floor pan and firewall. Body - convertible Paint – Dupont Hot Hues True Blue Candy Wheels/tires - Wheels – Foose Legend Tires - front 18 x 7.5 255/45 Proxes T1R Toyo Tires and 18 x 8.5 on 255/40 rear.
