The legendary Red Rocket available for those who lived the way it was back in the day or want to try to re-live those days! This one has had a total professional restoration done including frame + engine + wheels + body completely stripped & rebuilt from the ground up. Starting with the frame it has been sand blasted & repainted with single stage enamel slightly darker than the original Honda red (which was almost orange). The engine was stipped to the bare cases and completly gone through including new bearings, seals gaskets, top end with tight crank rod bearing. Carb was throughly cleaned & tuned, repainted with matching frame color. The chassis has had new swing arm bearing kit installed, repacked steering neck bearings new chain, sprokets, rollers. forks serviced & rear shocked replaced with new Progressive 17.5" series 13, the wheels were stripped and hubs repainted to a low gloss black the relaced with new chrome spoke kits on nice used Takasago rims new brakes, tires, bearings front & rear. The gas tank has no filler in it & its aluminum,the plastics are original & have been refinished with the matching color. Its not perfect but its extremely close. This bike looks amazing and runs just as well if you can use a calculator you would quickly see that there is NO WAY you can possibly build a bike that looks this good & runs this good for what this will sell for The core will cost you $900-1500 the parts will cost you $1000-1500 the 80 hours of labor @ about $50 per hour=$4000 so thats a total of $5900 to $7000 you be the judge! and bid with that in mind.
