This is a very special truck. Never been in the hands of an enthusiast (yet) and lovingly owned by it's second owner until he passed 4 years ago. His daughter, with tears in her eyes, finally let it go and said goodbye. I bought this truck with intentions of keeping it as a shop truck and I still drive it almost daily. Too nice to leave outside, I have ultimately gone with a newer heavier truck, better suited for towing and the daily chores of modern life. This wonderful rust free 1/2 ton Cheyenne Super was purchased new at Friendly Chevrolet in Escalon Ca. and never left the fair climate of Northern California. It is rust free with the very minor exception of a small amount of surface area at the bottom base of the door seal on the driver side (see pictures). The custom fit (67-72 only) fiberglass camper shell has been on it since new, so the inside of the bed is remarkable. My first thought was to remove it, but it is a period piece that has grown on me. Where would you ever find another one, right? This truck has been pampered from day one, and was used primarily to pull a small aluminum fishing boat most of it's life. Powered by a newer crate 350 & rebuilt 350 automatic, it purs like a kitten, but has the power of a lion when you need (want) it. Always maintained, everything is new, updated or serviced regularly. A stack of records are included as well as all the original owners manual, dealer vin plate, warantee card, and service manual. All lights, heater, fans, blinkers, brakes, etc work perfectly with the exception of the A/C. It merely needs a new compressor (would be a good time to switch to R134) to be complete. All brackets and hoses in place. The power steering and power brakes make it a pleasure to drive. The pictures should speak for themselves, this truck is a find. Not restored, but a head turning preserved survivor. Don't pass on this opportunity to own an investment such as this. Very reasonable reserve. Bid and buy with confidence.
