Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1996 GSXR 750. The bike has been modified to resemble a cafe racer with a custom aluminum seat / tail and the addition of a headlight fairing. The headlight fairing is easily removable if you want it to look more like a streetfighter. A couple pictures show what it can look like although I didn't go to the complete trouble of taking off the mounting brackets. The whole bike has been wrapped in black vynil carbon fiber with a silver carbon fiber stripe down the middle. Polished frame and swingarm sides. The gas tank is rust free. Rear tire is like new and the front has decent tread left too. Hindle stainless steel header into a shorty rear muffler which makes the bike sound nice (see the youtube video attached to hear it run). Carbs recently cleaned and this bike is ready for summer. Bike runs out nice and has plenty of power. If you are looking for something a bit different than your every day crotch rocket then this may be for you. Priced to sell with no reserve. Cheap bike with big horsepower. See video here (sorry for being so unsteady) http://youtu.be/DMUlJn0Tf9A For some reason I cant get it to link so you will have to copy and past this address into your browser window. Some things that are noticeable or could use attention. The wrap job could be better as there are wrinkles and visible seams here and there although you do have to get up close to see them. The left hand side of the frame has a ding in it. If it sits for awhile it takes a bit of cranking for it to start. The front tire has a very slow leak in it. TERMSSorry to be so blunt but a minority of poor ebayers force me to these terms. SHIPPING: No shipping on this item, local pickup only. PAYMENT: I will expect full cash payment when the bike is picked up which must take place within 7 days of auction end. If payment is not received by this time I reserve the right to sell to any other interested parties. I don't mess around with non-paying bidders so immediatly upon auction end I ask that you contact me and let me know your plans for picking up the bike so I know you are going to follow through with the purchase. For this reason if you do not contact me within 24 hours of the auction end I reserve the right to sell to other interested parties. COMMUNICATION: I always reply to emails, I will not be responsible if you have a spam-blocker stopping my emails. I prefer email to communicate, I do not wish to talk to you on the phone... not that I’m hiding anything I just like using email so there can be no mistake of what information was relayed. Please ask all questions prior to bidding and know what you are bidding on before you bid. FEEDBACK: Please do not leave poor feedback for me without trying to resolve problems with me first, in other words... at least give me a chance, I’m only human. I take pride in my awesome feedback rating. I am a reasonable guy, if your request is reasonable we can surely work out any problems. On Apr-23-13 at 10:13:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I mention the mirror I made for this bike. I spun a piece of aluminum and welded on a bracket to house a peep mirror that attaches to the left or right side of the cowling depending on your preference (pics have been added). Basically a neat little custom piece added. Also... the grips are Harris brand grips. I also forgot to mention since the pictures were taken that I added a fuel shutoff valve in the main fuel line for added security against any overflow of gas when parked.
