This Trans Am has only had 12,433 miles put on it since it was new. It is VERY rare to find such a low mile early 70’s Trans Am like this one. Most of them have been driven into the ground. This Trans Am is a very rare piece of history. General Motors only produced a total of 3,196 Trans Am’s in 1970. A total of 3,108 received the Ram Air III engine. Out of those, 1,769 were mated to a 4 speed transmission and 1,339 were mated to the automatic transmission. The automatic 1970 Trans Ams are more rare then the 4 speeds. This Trans Am has just had a full inspection of its mechanicals by an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician. This also covers the safety of the car. If any safety issues are found at the time of the inspection, they are fixed to factory original equipment standards. An inspection sheet is available upon request. The Polar White (ONE year only) exterior is in show quality condition. Please review all the pictures to see how nice this car really is. This Trans Ams undercarriage is extremely original, with solid and clean floorpans. The Red Oxide is still present. The Trans Ams automatic sends power to a Positraction rear end. Up front a factory power steering system combines with the power front wheel disc brakes to provide the stopping performance. Everything under this car looks very solid . The interior of this car is like taking a time machine back to 1970. The Blue Custom Deluxe seats are near perfect. The carpet is in excellent condition. The headliner is in excellent condition. The console houses a shifter that is topped with an awesome original shift knob, all in excellent condition. The dash and dash bezel is in pristine condition as well. The factory radio is still intact. The door panels are in excellent condition. The steering wheel is a reproduction. Its factory “bumpy” column is perfect. Behind the rear seats, you’ll find an original trunk that is rust free and in good shape retaining all the jack tools, and spare tire. The engine bay is very original to the untrained eye. Lurking under the hood is a set of Ram Air IV heads and a Ram Air IV intake manifold installed on the engine. It also has a Ram Air IV cam installed. A true Ram Air IV 1970 Trans Am is well into the six figures with only 88 Ram Air IV 1970 Trans Ams were produced. Please take time for the time for the 150++ clear digital pictures to upload. Shop around; you will have a hard time to find one this nice for the price. You could not duplicate this Trans Am for the price.
