1954 Chevy 3100 Pick-Up Power Steering and Power Brakes Video1:Video2: Up for auction is our 1954 Chevy 3100 Pick-up. This vehicle has a 1978 Chevy Camaro front clip, motor, transmission, rear end and features power steering and power brakes (disk on front, parking brake is not hooked up). The previous owner has owned this vehicle in Virginia since 1993 and it is in good condition for the year. It was painted around 10 years ago per the previous owner. The paint still holds a shine but there are some chips, scratches, etc as one would expect. The body is fairly solid; the running boards have been patched as well as parts of the floorboards. Frame is solid. We have installed new rear shocks, brakes, rear tires, rebuilt carb, fluid change, wheel seals etc. Tires are 275/60/15 in rear and 215/60/15 in front giving the truck a very nice stance. Two speed electric wipers and all drive lights work properly. Glass is all present and free from cracks and chips. The passenger side window rolls down with some difficulty so that will need to addressed. It has aftermarket gauges hooked up (stock gauges do not work). There is a steel bed. Transmission shifts smooth, motor runs strong and at good temperature. This will make a great truck for Summer Drive-In/ Cruising Season. You can run it like it is or use it as a start to a complete restoration. This truck is not a $40,000 Barrett Jackson vehicle but it is a solid truck with subframe, power steering and power brakes.
