~ 5 Day Auction At No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder ~ A Original California 1965 Ford Mustang True Convertible, Family owned since the 1970's. The engine is 200 Inline 6 & Automatic transmission with Power Brakes / Factory working Power Top. Rangoon Red / Black Pony Upholstery / Brand New Black Top, a sought after & beautiful color combination. It was purchased in the 70's by the 2nd owner in Southren California. He barley drove it for the next 10 years & gave it to his daughter to drive thru high school in the mid 80's. Her dad end up giving the mustang to her & she contined to drive it. Years later, marraige & kids came along. The Mustang was kept in the garage & driven on certain occasions. The lady owner was very attached to her Mustang & sentimental feelings to her. It was her first car & she had it many years. A excellent example of a Southern California Mustang. Retains the Blue plates & has kept very original thru out the years. A older restoration that was built to be a driver. Body & Paint -Was repainted back to its original color Rangoon Red & besides a few minor chips, Paint shows off nicely & body is in great solid shape, No rust bubbles on this pony! Mostly new trim/chrome, recently installed new mirrors, new rocker moldings, new door handles & new emblems, New antenna. Jambs are in clean shape, Original California body panels, still remains original trunk splatter on quarter panels. Has been well kept & cherished as long as the owner has owned it. Drivetrain -The engine sounds nice & quiet / Runs & drives great & transmisssion shifts smoothly. It was recently was given a tune up rebuilting the carb, new fuel pump, replacing the starter & adding a new battery. Interior is in clean driver shape, working radio & new floor mats. All lights & gauges work & is ready to be driven for the summmer! Have some extra parts that goes along with the mustang including a black booth for the top & floor jack equipment & ect. Have & comes with a clear California title in hand & vent # matches aporn vent door tag & title. Registration is on a non-op so there is no past due fees.
