1954 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE ROADSTER RARE NO RESERVEHi, up for auction is this beautiful 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, "" NOT a clone "" the 236 Vette off the line back in 54 and the 536 ever made, this is the real deal. This car was parked under a shed and covered for many years, owned by an older gentleman who use to be a race car driver and a Corvette enthusiast. This was the last Corvette in his collection, he loved this one the most and it almost brought him to tears when he knew it was going ( I guess you can say this is a true barn find) . He had it restored about 30 years ago and owned it for a little longer then that, upon restoration the transmission was replace with a better 1959 Powerglide transmission and it is believed to be the original inline 6cyl Blue Flame engine. This beauty runs and drives ( well I might add ) comes with side skirt windows, all emblems, grill has small crack in it have replacement grill, a new top was put on but didn't fit properly so it was removed, all hardware is still there just needs new canvas, and with a little love and care and a fresh coat of paint this classic piece of history can be worth upwards of a $100K. This car is not only super rare since they only produced 3,640 that year, but great fun and a even better investment.
