Up for sale is my 1962 Impala Convertible. I purchased the car about 1 year ago and it had previously went through a complete frame off restoration in 2010. Everything on the car was either replaced or restored. Restoration was performed by The Chevy Shop in California. Frame has never been cut or modified. Suspension is Air Ride Technologies level 3 kit. All suspension components have been chrome plated. Car rides and drives perfectly. Paint and Body: Body is laser straight, all lines are perfect. All exterior trim has been chrome plated including grill, side moulding, hood and trunk trim, convertible rack and headlight bezels. Paint is Silver Blue Metallic, paint is very deep and looks absolutely stunning in person. Trunk and underbody is coated with blue textured paint that is perfectly matched to the color of the body. Frame is painted same as the body color. Interior: All interior is brand new reproduction of original. Seats have hardtop cloth inserts. Engine/drivetrain: Engine is original 283 v8, trans is 350 Turbo automatic. Both engine and trans were rebuilt at time of restoration. Everything in engine bay is either painted to match car or chrome. Car runs and drives perfectly and is very strong. Options: Car is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, vintage air conditioning, 6 way power front bench seat, power windows. Also has autronic eye and vacuum operated trunk release installed, however they do not appear to function properly but everything is there. I am selling because I want to pursue new projects and I have not given this car the attention it deserves. It looks amazing in person, everything is finished exceptionally well.
