Vehicle Detail

Remarkable chance at owning a rarely available 1972 Porsche 911 T 911T. This is a collector investment opportunity that will not come around very often. This 911 is a second owner car with only 72,134 original miles - this is an original numbers matching Colorado car, with clear title. The car runs and drives well and everything works as it should. This 911 was originally robin egg blue and was professionally disassembled, stripped to bare metal, and repainted black by Stuttgart Motors (at the cost of $10,000) a little over 10 years ago. There is no rust on the car. The original 5 speed transmission was completely rebuilt, along with a new clutch, distributor, plugs, plug wires, new vacuum lines and complete tune up just over 1000 miles ago by a very reputable Porsche shop (have receipts). It has been professionally lowered and has newer Michelin Pilot tires with 50,000 mile warranty. The car has been garaged the majority of its life and never abused. The motor seems to smoke a little on start up and if you rev it up to higher rpms, it clears up when it's warm. The paint has a few nicks here and there around the car. There are penny size blemishes in the roof and hood that look like they are only in the clear coat. There are some minor rock chips in the front part of the hood. To make paint almost perfect I would repaint the hood and re-clear the roof. The original interior is in good shape with no rips or tears in the seats, carpet shows a little wear but is in good shape. The headliner has 2 minor rips in the rear. Overall the car is in very good shape. Included in the sale are the original owners manuals along with the tool kit and jack. All the glass is good with no scratches or chips. All weather stripping is in great shape with no leaks. I am listing this car for a neighbor please call me with any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability, my cell is 720 252 5612 Thanks Hayden. The number on the engine is: 61227787. Marvelous and really rare opportunity here, this market is getting tighter - with hard to find early, classic 911 cars getting very scarce. On Apr-16-13 at 08:40:58 PDT, seller added the following information: The paint code on the door jam plaque is 328 9-1. So the color was originally Gulf Blue. On Apr-18-13 at 17:03:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added a picture to show that there is no rust in the headlight buckets. Tomorrow i will take it to a lift and add pictures to show the underside of the car. Thanks and feel free to ask any questions. On Apr-19-13 at 18:19:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I got the car up on a lift today and added some pictures of the undercarriage. This is a vary rust free car absolutely no rust in or around floors trailing arms or in head light buckets, there is one small rust bubble on the drivers side door jamb and thats it.
