This truck has a 1948-1950 body but is on a frame that was registered/titled in 1952. VIN# on frame matches the clear title(and previous insurance records). There is a different number on the cowl. The little metal plate with numbers on the inside door of glove compartment is not there. It was a work in progress by our foreman/friend that passed away. It was left to my husband and has been in storage for 11 years. Most of the body has been done and is straight. There are a few small rust spots mostly where the bed meets the cab. The floor on inside is in good shape and appears to be solid. Fire wall has a few cut holes in it but not rusted through. Gas tank is good but needs old gas cleaned out. Truck has a 302 V8 automatic transmission. We were told by our friend that it was a fresh rebuild. Has new Edelbrock carb and manifold. Quite new tires but left front has a slow leak. My husband had time to work on it a little and drained the oil, put in new oil. Primed the pump and got good oil pressure. Truck turns over freely but cylinders have been sprayed with Fog and just won't catch or start. Interior has a bench seat that needs redone. Back window is out but windshield is intact. Bed has the wood slates but needs redone with the pretty wood and metal pieces. Please look at photo's closely as they are part of the description. Have many chrome parts including head lights and turn light bezals. FORD letters for front. F-1 badges. Trim to match hood latch. Original heater box (no motor).
