Great old car. Listing this for my neighbor. She has owned it for 30 years...but transfered it to her name in 09 when husband passed. It starts up right away and runs very good. Its been driven every summer to car shows and cruises with no real problems. It is a 12 volt converted. the body is in fair to good shape. It is not rust free or claimed to be a super clean car. its a 65 year old car...and is in very good shape for its age. I drove it and it drives pretty darn good and shifts good. clutch is good. I did about 50 with it on Woodward when i drove it a few times. She just wants to sell it as she is moving into a retired asisted living home. No reserve. This is a great car for anyone who wants to tinker and have a good driver quality car. Its a base model that was originally a military issue vehicle so its bare bones for options...and would make a great v8 rat-rod style car. I would definatly buy it and do it myself if i had the money to do so. You can see the original military green on the firewall. Its been changed over the years as you can see. The interior is original and in pretty great condition considering its 65 years old. Please ask any and all questions and I will do my best to answer them. I tried to take excellent pictures to show the condition of the car. I have a perfect record on eBay and I take ebay seriously and do what i can to maintain a perfect record. I strongly suggest if you are interested in the car, come and see it and make your own judgments to its condtion. One mans junk is another mans treasure. One man will see it for all it really is and what it could be...if your a guy looking to get a show car go look at show cars. If you want to show up and pick everything apart on it thats not perfect...go look at other cars. Gas gauge works but is not accurate. passenger side door does not close tightly against seals. Title is in neighbors name, she has signed off of it and it is in my possesion.pass side wiper blade is gonethere is a electrical draw so the battery is disconnected when parked over night. was drivin 5-6 miles daily all last summer.Has rear air shocks installed. On Apr-15-13 at 09:38:36 PDT, seller added the following information: With a little more investigation...it is actually a 217c.i. motor...i do believe it is the original motor. also, the body does have a lot of scratches and paint chips not so visible in the pics. The paint job is a garage job it looks...they layed it on thick...but it was a long time ago. The neighboors had it in a very tight small 1 car garage and had various yard tools hung on the walls all around it...i can only think they banged them against it fairly often. I dont really think it matters...not buying the paint. the floors do have some holes in them when i looked under it - to be expected. I tried to take some photos best i could...but i cannot upload them on the page. I will create another dummy listing tonight that will hold those pictures.
