I have 1970 Volkswagen kit car dune buggy. This is made from a 1970 volkswagen beetle. I have had the car for two years now, and it runs great. The frame and undercarriage were sandblasted and painted before the fiberglass body was installed. The rims and tires are new. I currently have the car registered and insured in New York state. The car gets great mileage. The car is about 95% complete, I am happy with it the way it is, but to be perfect it needs the speedometer cable hooked up, a fuel gauge, and temperature guage. The carburator was just rebuilt. The car is a lot of fun to drive, the only reason I am getting rid of it is because I would like to get a Suzuki Samurai. This vehicle is also for sale locally.
