This is my 1950 Chevy 2 door. I will be as descriptive as I can, please read entire description NO RESERVE!!!!! Body is solid, very nice red with shaved trunk handle and emblem, shaved hood emblem, and the holes where the stone guards would be are shaved. Trunk release latch handle is tucked inside the gas door. The factory tail lights are also shaved with 1958 Impala taillights molded in. Paint is real nice but it not perfect, there are a few scratches and a couple small chips. Overall great shape. This is not a trailer queen. The chrome is in wonderful shape, both bumpers are near perfect with no pitting or rust whatsoever. All the trim around the glass and doors are also in great shape, there is pitting on the door handles. The grille is not chrome but painted silver. Fender trim and mirrors are in great shape. Finished trunk mat and sides Engine is a straight six, with new fuel lines, new filters. It has been converted to a 12 volt system. each wire was labeled when converted. Car starts up fine and runs smooth, it has dual exhaust with straight pipes, so it is a loud straight six. As far as the engine compartment, solid no rust, trunk mounted battery and shaved firewall. Interior is in wonderful shape, everything new, seats are not factory but comfortable, they do have the track and recline. Front and rear seats have no rips or tears, carpet is in wonderful shape, no spills or rips. Steering wheel is from a 3rd gen camaro the door panels, quarter trim panels and kick panels are all custom made and nicely finished. The heater and defroster work great. Dash has a push button starter, switch on for fuel pump, headlights, parking lights and ignition. Wheels are powdercoated, the right front tire has a slow leak and goes flat after about 2 weeks. This is a very nice car that needs little work, the car has disc brakes up front but still has the factory master so it will need a booster, the breaks are weak. I wish i could keep it but have other family financial priorities so this needs to go.
