1978 "Diamond Jubilee" Thunderbird. This is a great example both inside and out. This car is in great condition and runs and drives superbly. This car has always been maintained, garaged and lovingly cared for by the vehicles first owner, who was a women. This is not a car that sat for long periods of time on the side of someone's house or in a field somewhere. It is equipped with The Ford 351 Windsor V8, FMX Transmission and Ford 9 inch rear end. All is in good shape and runs like a top and does not use a drop of oil. This is a great long distance driver that has no equal on the highway with its smooth and very comfortable ride. It is super clean under the hood and it has no rust on the floorboards or anywhere on the body. This is a very dependable car as I have driven this car long distances without ever a hint of trouble, One trip was 1310 miles. Of course I use only top grade oils and premium fuels in what ever I drive. The Diamond Jubilee Thunderbird was the most luxurious car you could buy in 1978 with the exception of its counterpart the Lincoln Mark VII. Equipped with just about every option available as standard equipment -Plus Over Stuffed Seats, Color keyed leather wrapped and hand stitched steering wheel and Dash pad. Also these cars have Full GT Instrumentation including tachometer. All gauges work as they should with the exception of the clock. Factory Philco Seek Signal AM/FM Radio works and sounds great, Heater is HOT and the A/C blows "ICE COLD". Tires are GOOD, Almost new and also New Monroe Shocks.
