I am selling my 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula Car with Snorkel hood. It saddens me deeply to have to sell this car. Car suffered damage in Hurricane Sandy. No water damage. Car is an all original 1971 Formula 400 car. If you know anything about these cars there were only 1,700 made in 1971 with a 400 and 4 speed. Has Front Disc Brakes and rear drums from the factory. Car is a solid foundation for a restoration car. Floors, Truck, Frame Rails, Inner and Outer wheel wells, Sub frame, Inner and outter rockers are all solid. Needs roof replacement along with some minor rust repair. I have the numbers matching Motor, Tranny, in the storage. Motor will need to be rebuilt. I have about 3 boxes of parts from the previous owner. This is technically a two owner car because i never registered it. It needs a new home and a restoration. This car is a very solid foundation and very rare. When i go to car shows i never see any formula cars ever. This car is one of 1700 made with a 4 speed. Interior is mint. Seats, dash rug, all good. Car has 83,000 original miles.
