This is a 1984 Touring Coupe that is 1 of 50 produced by Avanti Motors. It had an on frame restoration in 2005. It is not a show but shows very well. It has 35,000 miles since restoration. Has never ever been involved in an accident. I will now list most of what was done during the restoration: 1. Body was stripped down and repainted, base coat/ clear coat. 2. Motor was replace with a 300hp 350 performance motor with all new accessories, including an edlebrock carb. With no emissions on engine. 3. Front end was completly rebuilt and correctly aligned. Steers great and tracks straight and does not wander. 4. Transmission was rebuilt-700R 4spd. 5. New true dual exhaust with no cats. 6. New brakes front and rear 7. New master cylinder. 8. Recore radiator. 9. Four new tire and four new shocks This Avanti runs and drives great. Acceration is excellent and the transmisson shifts well. The body and frame are excellent, The hog troughs and rear cross member have no rust at all! The interior is not perfect but is in very good condition. The paint still has an excellent shine but has a few minor cracks and blemishes mostly where the sunroof was sealed. This car has been in Florida most of its life and is now kept in a heated garage. Everything in the interior works execpt for the sunroof which has been sealed closed by previous owner. All gauges work and the A/C blows cold.
