I stumbled across this Land Cruiser while on a trip in Red Lodge, MT. I knocked on the owner's door and asked him if he was interested in selling his cruiser and if so, I'm interested in buying. Later that same evening the owner called and within a month I was the new owner. The back story is: I'm the 4th owner. The guy I bought it from primarily used it for hunting and winter driving. The guy before him was the Chevy mechanic in the Red Lodge Montana area and it was his “Baby”. After he passed away it sat in his driveway for 4-5 years. His wife couldn't part with it but finally she did. I’m not sure who the original owner was. By purchasing this Cruiser, the owner was able to search for and purchase the original Cruiser his Dad owned and amazingly he found the original Cruiser still in Montana! I hate to get rid of “BOB” my Cruiser’s nickname, but as the economy goes so does my financial expectations. I have been expecting a raise in my salary but it sounds like it’s just not going to happen as fast as I need it so "BOB" the Cruiser has to go. This cruiser runs and starts every time. A very strong engine and is ready to hit the road or trails. All gauges work. It has original tool kit and tool bag and AM radio. The body has normal rust typical to Land Cruisers with no dents. The gas tank drained clear and all fuel filters were changed. All glass is in good condition with only one small chip on the windshield. The headliner will have to be replaced but interior is in exceptional condition for the age. The seats have some normal tears but are fully functional. This is a very nice classic Land Cruiser in above average condition that has not been altered and I've had people give me thumbs up and take pictures while driving!!
