1972 C-10 Custome Deluxe. Rebuilt 350 4bbl Turbo 400 automatic Factory Air Conditioning Power stering Power Brakes Classic Car Audio AM/FM stereo w/mp3 connection Alpine amp Polk audio speakers Recent Tires Towing receiver w/electric brake connection Edelbrock carb w/manual choke The paint is in very good condition, the only rust is on the inside bottom of the doors due to leaking window scrapers. The engine was rebuilt about 6000 miles ago and runs great, transmission shifts fine and may be original. The a/c has all new ductwork, compressor, evaporator, and condenser. Converted to 134a, blows super cold. The heat does not work, it needs some work on the heater controls. The front drive shaft has a bent yoke causing vibration which is cracking the carrier bearing loop. It needs either a new yoke welded on by a drive line specialist and balanced, or a new front drive shaft. And of course a new carrier bearing. Either option will run around $350. The truck is driveable, just vibrates the shaft between 32-45 mph. The only other issue is the previous owner replaced the lower trim and screwed it to the body with stainless steel screws. The body is still solid and not rusting, but the holes should be filled and the molding installed correctly. I do have the original molding, just needs to be polished and painted. Replacement molding kit will run you over a thousand dollars! I have the original owners manual and protecto plate. With a few thousand dollars invested you could have a 15 to 20 thousand dollar truck. I don't have time or money make it complete. All reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks for looking.
