1969 Impala Custom, 350, automatic transmission, air conditioning, 171k miles(original motor), power steering, drum brakes. The only engine modifications I made was I had a new carburetor put in, however I still have the original and it will go with the car. This car was originally owned by my grandpa in California. He bought it new on February 10th 1969 from the dealer and was used by him(car was garaged when he wasn't driving it) until I inherited it in 2003. Car was not garaged for 5 years when I lived at the beach in Santa Monica. The car is currently garaged in NC and has been since 2008. Last summer I had the transmission rebuilt and recently got a tune up. Car runs well. In the spring, summer, and fall I drive it to school(2 miles) once a week.I have the original CA black plates that came with the car, along with orig. vin tags, and owners manual. Car is registered in CA. Although the car is relatively clean and I would say it is in fair condition. The interior has some wear and tear, most noticable in the front driver seat and floor. The car has some light rust on both fenders and surface rust in the trunk. The front chrome bumper has some spotty rust as well. Several strips of the green trim is missing and will need to be replaced. Car has been repainted, most recently in 2008 on lower panel of passenger side(the tow truck scratched it while taking it off). Radio doesn't work and missing an antenna. I did have a CD player installed. Recently a potential buyer closed my hood wrong, so now it opens awkwardly. Anyone who knows anything about cars could fix it, unfortunately I do not. I have definitely highlighted all the negatives in my pictures and in my description. Despite the flaws, it's still a looker! Car was used in several print ads, including Vans and Billabong while in CA.
