Here is a very nice 99% original CB400F Super Sport. This is a barn find, and being sold in found condition. Everything I believe to be original, other than the handle bars, and tires. This was last ridden 8 yrs ago, and driven into the barn it was stored in. I have not tried to start it, as I am sure it needs carbs gone through, and a new battery. It kicks over freely, and has good compression. The exhaust is in very good condition, with no holes or rust on the muffler, there is minimal rust on the header pipes, where heat took its toll on the chrome. Paint is original, there is a small dent in the tank, as shown in the pics, and the right side cover is cracked, and has been repaired on the back side with fiberglass resin. This is an early production bike, with a build date stamp of 11/74, and a vin # CB400F1009300. These bikes are very collectible, and getting harder and harder to find, especially in original unmolested condition. This bike would be a perfect candidate for a full restoration, or just clean the carbs, put a battery in, and ride it as is. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, I will help load at my end, but I will not make any shipping arrangments. I can store the bike for a reasonable amount of time if needed.
