1970 Toyota Land Cruiser, Yes it was on Ebay for 1 day and bought, then the buyer could not get the funds so here it is again. I purchased this FJ40 and it has been in California all its life till I brought it here to New England. It is a fresh Pearl lime color by DuPont Cromax paint. The professional paint job was done by Folks Auto Body in Reseda, CA (a very reputable body shop). They did a good job painting the car from top to bottom and the inside as well. The sides are laser straight. There is only a small (nickel size) dent on the front bumper. There are before and after pictures. The paint job alone was over $6500, which was 20% less than the actual cost. We bought a lot of parts from Specter Off-Road in Chatsworth California, such as all new emblems throughout, emblem pads, all light lenses, rear hutch seals and much more. I am only listing some of the items. I have all the receipts for proof. I also have a folder full of receipts and documents from the previous owner which includes receipts from Specter Off-Road and different shops. This great FJ40 was owned by an older gentleman for about 15 years. He only drove it for 5000 miles on hunting trips. He had the engine rebuilt and much more work was done to this F40. I have all the receipts and documents for proof. This FJ40 had a color change from blue to this beautiful Pearl Lime Green. Everyone loves the color. The car sounds good mechanically and drives great. It has new rear brakes and the front brakes are also good. It has new oil sending unit and headlight switch. It has a new alternator and much more. I had the carburetor professionally rebuilt. It is a V6 Toyota Engine and was a 3 speed column shifter. I converted the floor shift using all original parts. The 4x4 works good, great clutch, and no oil leaks. The interior looks good. It was done awhile back. It is army texture fabric and can seat 5 passengers. It has a new headliner, new carpet kit. There are 3 seat belts in the front. Since it was a column shifter, you can seat two people in the front next to the driver. The heater works good as does the wipers and washers, all lighting works with horn and directional. This is a very solid rust free FJ40 at a great price. It is very reliable, drives great, 70 miles per hour all day, no problem. I drive this FJ every day and know it runs great. It has not seen snow or salt and has always been garaged.
