Thanks for looking at my 2006 BMW E60 M5 $23,000 in Dinan Upgrades - 571 HP I bought this car a few months ago without first asking my wife.. given the listing, you can guess who won that battle.. Nevertheless, it was worth it to drive this car a few thousand miles (and I won't be too disappointed if it takes a few months to sell :-) The car is an amazing machine, and I will be sad to see it go. This 2006 M5 has just over 44,000 miles, which is lower than most of the '06's you will find. This car has no signs of abuse or racing whatsoever. It is immaculate inside and out. No leather issues, discolorations, really there isn't much wear on the leather at all. The leather dash looks brand new. All buttons work as they should, SMG transmission shifts on a dime, brakes are huge and have incredible stopping power with no shaking or anything. The wheels were just media blasted and powder coated, the inside was powdered dark charcoal while the outside was coated to factory specs, so the wheels look clean way longer. This M5 has brand new Continental Extreme Contact tires, about 1,000 miles on them now. Overall, the car probably looks about like it did when in the showroom in 2006. Flawless inside and out. A lot of people say that their BMW is "fully loaded" with "every option," but they usually mean that their car has "a lot of options." Having said that, this M5 does indeed have every single option offered in 2006. So if you have to ask, "does it have....?" the answer is yes, it does. I will attempt to list all the options out, but may leave some out on accident. Please, do feel free to ask if you notice an option is not mentioned, and I will confirm it is in fact an option on the car and send you a picture of it if you'd like. In addition to the standard options, this M5 has the following: -Sirius Satellite Radio -Heads Up Display (HUD) -Comfort Access (Never have to take the key out of your pocket!) -Full Merino Perforated Leather Seats -Everything wrapped in Merino Leather, including doors, dash, etc. with hand stitching in traditional M colors. -Alcantara Suede Headliner -M Multifunction Seats with Active Width Adjustment (Active Seat Technology) -Heated and Cooled/Ventilated Seats -Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG) Transmission with Drivelogic -Paddle Shifters (Downshifting with Rev Match is amazing) -Adaptive Headlight Technology -Harmon Kardon Logic 7 Sound System -Six CD Changer -Navigation (which I think is standard) -18-way Multi-Function Seats In addition to all of these options, this M5 was sent to BMW of Portland (where it lived most of it's life) to have some Dinan performance modifications done. The total invoice after the upgrades was over $23,000.00 and was completed in 2010. These upgrades greatly improve the performance of this already amazing M5. The only change in appearance you can see from the outside is the exhaust system, which is great because it isn't too showy or race car looking, and is what I like to call a "sleeper." Does not feel like a race car, just feels like a nice luxurious M5 that handles incredibly well and is extremely powerful. The exhaust note is not like most loud exhausts you see on M5's - it is very refined with a glorious tone, especially between 4,000 and 7,000 RPM's. I have the factory exhause that I will include for an extra $350.00 if you want. Also included in this auction is a $400 Passport Radar/Laser Detector/Jammer that has been hardwired into the car.
