Vehicle Detail

Perfect sport touring bike. Not a grocery getter, but a back roads blaster. This was my second 07 K12S, and I loved them both. Plenty of power with Remus CF exhaust, PCIII, and a PC Quick Shift for clutchless shifting like the K13S. Black powder coated wheels, grip puppies, almost new Michelin PR3's, a little carbon fiber here and there. Annual and 24K service just done. (>$800) No problems. Bike runs great. I just took it on a Texas Hill Country ride (>1000 miles) with zero issues. IMO, you can't buy a better sport touring bike than the KxS bikes. The brakes, which are both linked and antilock, are the best in motorcycling, IMO. The engine is linear and plenty fast. I have a K1300S now, and the K12S with PCIII and QS is just as fast. This is a perfect bike for the right guy. If you're just going to ride around town, this isn't for you. This bike is meant to be "sport" toured, not babied. I've done all maintainance on time and have never had any problems with anything on the bike. Yes, BMW's clunk when they go into gear. They all do it, and so does this one. It's "normal," according to BMW. I've put over 75,000 miles on two K12's and another 9K on my current K13 without issue. Simply put, they're the best sport touring bike out there. This one is very clean and waiting for a new owner. Always garage kept. I just reduced the price by $500. I need to get this out of my garage. Too many toys. This bike sold 12/8/2007, 23,688 miles ago, for $18,615. It's has about $3500 of extras added, and a fresh >$800 dollar service. Don't bother with any low ball $5K offers. You want a $5K bike? Well, you get what you pay for. Bike has ESA, Heated grips, Integral ABS, TPM, On board computer. Everything BMW offered, but traction control.
