For sale is my 1996 Audi A6 Quattro. The odometer shows 117K miles. I am the second owner. This car was purchased with all of the available options, such as sunroof, cruise control, heated front leather seats, automatic climate control, rear passenger vents, headlight washers, and wood grain trimming. The overall appearance of the car is an 8.5 out of 10. The interior is in great condition (see pictures). The seats have no cuts, rips, or tears front and back. The dashboard has no cuts or neither faded. The Bose stereo system works fine, however I couldn’t get the six disc changer in the trunk to engage. The exterior has a couple of spots where the clear coat actually peeled off (see pictures), areas such as the trunk lid and the roof of the car. But it will not rust. The maintenance in the car was performed by Audi technicians throughout its entire life. The motor oil was changed every 3,000 miles or so. The major services on this car were done at 90K miles, such as the timing belt, the water pump and the serpentine belt. The next major service is recommended at 160K as per Audi. The engine runs very strong. The gears shift very smoothly. This Quattro car performs equally in both wet and dry weather. This car has a lot of life left. I have seen these particular V6 Audi engines with the odometer reading over 300K. The Good and Upgrades: The previous owner was an Audi enthusiast and he lowered the car by one inch all around with B&G German springs which enhances handling.The front sway bar bushings, the upper struts tower and the outer tie rods were replaced with OEM parts. The front seats were replaced by 1995 Audi URS s4 heated front seats. The wheels/tires were upgraded to a 2006 Audi A3 17” rims wrapped with brand new all season Falcons 215/45/17 with only about 300 miles. The car is equipped with the Thule custom roof rack with a wind deflector which can carry up to 150 lbs. of external luggage. Recently, I replaced the OEM metal fuel tank with a new one because the original tank was rotted internally (common problem with these older C5 models) alone with a new fuel pump and new fuel filter.This 1996 Audi A6 Quattro is a solid car, view my feedbacks and buy with confidence.
