Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my Indy Pace Car It is the real deal Z11 big block. I Bought this about 6 years ago. I Painted it and tuned it I went thru brake system It sits in the garage and has been driven in a few parades .Here is the history as told to me ,4 owners in late 70s was used as race car, a roll bar frame connectors and a fuel cell and wheel tubs were done A narrowed ford 9inch posi was installed Sport recaro seats finished in houndstooth,Backseat narrowed so tubs fit well .I removed the Roll bar ,Battery moved to trunk rear tires are BF Goodrich 305 55 15 12 inch wide I did not re-pin stripe but have set of race decals (New ).The engine is a 472 aprox 510HP Runs and sounds GREAT About 200 miles on it,turbo 400. I was going to bring it back to original just no time. This is a rust free California car . This is not a perfect car but it is VERY straight and runs very well Everything seems to work as it should . A solid day or two of tinkering would be recomended no parts just a little time. I bought a complete date code correct running 396,it is available to winning bidder for additional fee or will take out 472 buyers choice. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION Its time for someone else to enjoy. I can refer a very good shop if needed. Feel free to ask questions or arrange inspection.I will work with shippers and can get to any LA docks. Car is located in southern california about 10 minutes from Pomona. DKOn Mar-23-13 at 15:03:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had lots of Questions about top and if its Original BB 1) Top works fine no holes no damage all good 2) I can only tell you what I have seenabout motor mounts when I bought it I looked over subframe and found no indication that they were ever moved no rust no scrapes no imprints no bolt marks, Also 396 emblems have no holes anywhere around them to indicate badge swaps. Here are a few more pics with top down GOOD LUCK DK
