You are bidding on a nice low mileage 1974 Superior Crown Limited Cadillac Hearse. Crowns were the top of the line hearse for Superior Coach in 1974. Superior only used the best of the best in these Crowns, and the Limited was a Step Above.This one definitely has it all. It has the gorgeous Chrome Tiara across the top and the sleek superior lines. This hearse features the "Limited" upgraded fancy landau bars, the nicer draperies & Crown light inside of the rear interior casket compartment. The interior is beyond stunning. It is super hard to find a hearse with the expensive luxurious Mohair interior and not only does this hearse have the Mohair interior, but it is BLACK. Mohair is soft and plush like velvet. It is so cushy and comfortable. Its almost impossible to find a hearse that has an original black interior. Its hard to find a hearse this old that even has Power Windows. When I got the car, they didnt open but we have fixed all of them and they work great. You will be completely in love with this car. This hearse only has 62,324 original miles. It came out of California from Doug Scott's hearse salesabout 10 years ago and went to a collector in Wisconsin. I bought it with the intention of painting it black and having another gorgeous show car. All of the glass is good with no chips or cracks. The tires are in good shape and hold air. The trans works fine and shifts flawlessly. The engine runs strong and does not leak squeak or creak. Interior is in excellent shape. The formal curtains are very nice. All of the chrome is there and in decent condition. Paint is a little tired but still presentable. There are some paint chips, mostly on the rear door, that should be touched up or repainted. I think a black paint job would at least triple the value of this beautiful funeral coach. The air conditioner compressor blows, it might need a freon charge for the summer, but it does work. I cant tell if it needs freon or not currently, because the weather here has been in the 30's. The exhaust is a bit loud. There is a minimal amount of rust on the drivers side lower fender. I might do a partial or full swap if the right opportunity were presented to me. A few things I would be interested in are a PT cruiser w low miles and a moonroof, a PT Cruiser Convertible, an HHR Panel, Sport Trac 4x4, an Explorer 4x4, Escape 4x4, Expedition 4x4, F150 4x4, a paint job for a couple of other hearses that I own. What do you have that I might want? No junk please! I need a low mileage daily driver, but I am always looking for old hearses (Eureka, Superior, Flxible, Miller Meteor) and or Funeral Antiques, oddities, etc. if you have something, let me know.
