Selling my baby :-( After 15 years owning, driving, showing and winning trophies with this rare beauty, I have to sell her. Haven't been to a show in 2 years, and I hate seeing her just sit here. She's a 1969 AMC Ambassador SST 2-Door Hardtop, with Factory 390 and Air Conditioning, which still blows cold air!! 101,000+ miles. On a scale of 1-10 I would put her at a 7.5. AMC only made 1899 of this model with the 390. The hard top is in excellent condition, paint does shine, but has minor scratches. There is a little rust on the bottom of the rocker panels, which can be seen in the pics. The interior is in good shape with a couple small seperations on the driver seat. The head liner is starting to seperate at the edges, see pics. Drum brakes all the way around with Safe Command System, Had the carb re-built last year and she runs great, I would drive her anywhere. I have accumulated lots of NOS parts over the years, to include grill, front & rear parking lights, chrome head light bezels, dash bezel, and other stuff. I also have an extra hood and a hood from a 70 Ram Air Javelin. I was going to have the Ram Air installed on the spare hood. I think it would look awesome!! She has chrome air cleaner top amd valve covers. She still has a functioning electric washer bag (pic). Clear Title in hand. I could go on and on, but you can e-mail me specific questions or pics.
