Vehicle Detail

This little Jeep is solid and runs good. It has a fairly rare Hurricane BF-161 that runs like a dream. Starts right up, idles good and runs smooth at speed. No smoke, no knocks or rattles, has 40 PSI oil pressure. Doesn't get hot or do any funny stuff. The transmission shifts well in all gears, no crunching or screaming coming from that, it is as it should be. The transfer case works well in all ranges and speeds, the 4 wheel drive works with no problems or noises, the hubs are not gummed up and work easily. The clutch is starting to run out of adjustment and would be best replaced, it makes it easier to start it in gear and take off because it only starts to engage about when it hits the floor. That would be the only fix it would need to be 100% on the running gear. The brakes work well and don't leak, it stops good and strong and doesn't pull one way or the other. No noise from the axles or from anything else for that matter. The body is very solid and 95% rust free. There is a small amount next to the driver and one spot under the seat. The tank is no good so I'm running a gas can for now as you see, I can't find my boat tank or I would use that. This works fine for me, I only cruise around the property here and so it's not an issue. I pulled up the old carpet the other day, I wanted to put a big rubber mat in it, but I'll let the new owner make that choice. The seats are solid and easily covered, they are alot like forklift or backhoe seats I noticed. They sell new cushions for those at Tractor Supply. The body is solid and has been beefed up and improved in many areas for real use and not parade stuff. Has a good strong rear bumper for towing or standing on with a rifle. I tried to show the different ways it has been set up in the photos. It's a nice little turn key vehicle you won't have to put a fortune or time into, just personalize it for you. It already has all the work done for you, Turn the key and away you go! The Title is history so I have a bill of sale from DMV for it. If you were wondering, the front axle has been relocated forward to properly clear the longer engine, you will see that all the work was well thought out and done nicely, it shows all the way through the vehicle. It needs a new owner to finish it out and drive it like it should be!
