I've personally driven this car myself and was quite impressed with how nicely it drove compared to what I was expecting. I've posted a video with the pictures showing it start up and drive effortlessly to about 50 MPH. The car's suspension is in good condition, as it does not shake, rattle squeak at any speeds. Drives Well even at Higher speeds. Steering is tight and straight. Doesn't pull hard in any direction. For what this SUV is it Is Definitely a Runner, I don't anticipate any serious issues with the Mountaineer! The exterior is in decent condition with little rust spots all which were touched up. Most of it was on the hood from rock Chips which was touched up. The rear wheel wells also had rust spots that were touched up and it looks a lot better. The interior is in decent condition as well, the center arm rest having the only serious physical damage. All the Windows work. The Driver side rear door does not want to open, the locking mechanism needs to be replaced, an easy DIY fix. Recent Service Includes: New Starter, New Serpentine Belt, Idler Pulley and Speed Sensors as well as Oil change done. No Check Engine lights. No dummy lights on the dash in general!Transmission Shifts Smoothly! Four Wheel drive works properly. Private inspections/test drives are Certainly welcomed and encouraged.
