1966 Pontiac Tempest Listed At No Reserve - 3 Day Auction - Sold To The Highest Bidder! Here is a original 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom 2 door Coupe. Family owned, lady purchased the pontiac new & owned it till the late 80's were it was passed down to her nephew, Keeping it original & Spending its entire life in Southern California. Still has its original black & yellow California plates. Had been sitting in the nephews drive way for some years untill recent & now up for auction Here is your chance to own this Pontiac Tempest at No Reserve.... Pontiac is pretty solid & has original body panels & looks to remain most of the original paint. Factory two tone color combo Montero Red with Cameo Ivory painted top. Top still has its original paint & shows minor surface rust but no rust holes. Body is in clean shape & from over the years has minor dent & dings. Jambs are in great shape, Floors undercarriage is original & really clean shape & is one of the great pros for this Tempest. Trunk is clean & still has original trunk splatter. Under the hood, pretty much original. Engine is a stock 326 v8 & automatic transmission. Pontiac had been sitting for some years & recently got it running. Runs/drives good & dosent smoke, engine sounds good with no knocks or ticking noises. Transmission shifts good & with a good tune up would make a great daily driver. Lights - gauges work - & tires are in good shape. Interior is factory red & is all original & in good shape for its age with no speaker hole cutout including dash & still has its origina radio. Keep in mind this is a project & is ready to be restored or drive in its current original shape.
